AlterNative Calls for Book Reviewers
Kia ora,
AlterNative publishes a number of book reviews in each issue -have you considered writing a book review for publication in 2014?
If you are interested in reviewing one of the books that we have waiting for review (listed below), please contact us with your CV, a list of publications or a short bio, including a brief outline of your suitability to review the book on this topic. We will send you the book review copy, which is yours to keep after review. This does not infer publication; all reviews will be assessed for suitability before publication.
A full list of available review copies is available here.
We also welcome reviews of volumes on indigenous peoples’ issues and themes that you think would be of interest to our readers. Please note that AlterNative only publishes reviews of books that have been published in the preceding two years. Please contact us on editors@alternative.ac.nz with your details and thedetails of the book. We can then confirm if it would be of interest and give you a deadline for submission.
We especially encourage reviews from graduate students or early career academics.
A guide to book reviewing for AlterNative is downloadable from here.
