FIVE PROFESSORIAL POSITIONS IN THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria invites applications for five faculty positions, with preference given to members of visible minorities and Indigenous scholars. The positions require strong collaborative skills that provide intellectual and organizational leadership, and complement the work and focus of current faculty members and programs. The University of Victoria is proud of its teaching and research culture and all faculty members are expected to make a strong contribution to teaching, research and scholarly work.
In accordance with the University’s Equity Plan and pursuant to Section 42 of the BC Human Rights Code, preference will be given to members of the following designated groups: members of visible minorities and Indigenous scholars. Candidates from these groups who wish to qualify for preferential consideration are strongly encouraged to self-identify. Effective date of appointment is negotiable (July 1, 2016 or January 1, 2017). Applications should include curriculum vitae and only the names of three referees. No letters of reference will be considered at this time. Deadline for receipt of applications is April 30, 2016.
