Facilitators Needed for Indigenous Cultural Safety Trainings (Ongoing)

Posted on

Vancouver Coastal Health’s Aboriginal Health team has been providing Indigenous Cultural Safety (ICS) trainings for staff and physicians for the past year and a half. These are in person and interactive trainings that consistently receive very high feedback. We are looking to expand our team of contract facilitators to meet the growing demand. The commitment is 5 hours per training; you decide how many a month would work for your schedule. We also hold a monthly Facilitator’s Circle to support the work and growth process that would be required. It is agreed among the current facilitators that as Indigenous people facilitating these trainings is a very healing journey.
If you have facilitating experience, are Indigenous and are looking for rewarding, well paid work, send me a little write up about yourself, your experience, and what draws you to answer this call.
